Creative Corner Foundation at the Regional Symposium on Youth Participation in Peace Processes
The Creative Corner Foundation was proud to play an active role in the Regional Symposium on Youth Participation in Peace Processes for the North West and South West regions of Cameroon. Held in a spirit of collaboration and hope, the symposium brought together youth leaders, civil society actors, and peace advocates to explore practical solutions for sustainable peace in our communities.
As an organization committed to empowering young people through creativity, dialogue, and civic engagement, we were inspired to witness the energy and commitment of participants who shared real, lived experiences and innovative approaches to peacebuilding. The symposium provided a much-needed space for young voices to be heard — not just as beneficiaries of peace processes, but as key architects of lasting change.
Through panels, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities, we deepened our understanding of the challenges facing youth in conflict-affected regions and exchanged ideas on how to strengthen youth-led initiatives for peace.
We believe that peace is not just the absence of conflict, but the presence of justice, opportunity, and inclusion — and that young people must be at the heart of any meaningful progress. The Creative Corner Foundation remains committed to this vision, and we look forward to continuing this important work with our partners and community.
